PRIVACY POLICY

We only collect the data we need to run the Service. Broadly, that falls into four categories:

Account data

Email address, password authentication data, verification and reset tokens, and session information.

Profile data

Display name, first name, last name, region or country selection, favourite Premier League club, and any avatar or bio you choose to add.

Prediction & gameplay data

The predictions you submit, the rounds and seasons you participate in, your points totals, trophy/accomplishment history, and the Friends Leagues and Community Leagues you belong to.

Usage & technical data

Basic request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps), high-level page analytics, and error reports. This helps us keep the Service secure and diagnose issues.

• to operate the Service and keep your account secure;
• to resolve predictions, calculate leaderboards, and award trophies;
• to send transactional messages, including email verification and password reset messages;
• to improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying analytics;
• to comply with our legal obligations.

Depending on the type of processing, we rely on one of the following high-level bases:

• Contract - to provide the Service you signed up for and to deliver Season Ticket perks you purchase.
• Legitimate interests - to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud, and improve the product.
• Consent - where you opt in to anything that requires explicit permission (e.g. non-essential analytics if and when a cookie banner is introduced).
• Legal obligation - when we need to retain records (e.g. tax/accounting) or respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with a small set of trusted processors so the Service can run:

• hosting and database providers that run the app and store its data;
• email delivery providers for verification, password reset, and transactional messages;
• payment processors for Season Ticket purchases;
• analytics and error-reporting providers that help us improve reliability.

Each processor is bound by a data-processing agreement and may only use your data to deliver their service to us.

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active so leaderboards, trophies, and season history remain meaningful. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove personal identifiers and retain only anonymised gameplay records where needed for leaderboard integrity, plus any records we are required to keep by law.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@predicted.it.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures (including encryption in transit and access controls) to protect your data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
